“Since my childhood, composition happened as a natural and intuitive activity. This was the rudder that guided and guides my musical career; and the will to constantly learn and nourish myself with different music from all around the world ”. 

Musical education

Sebastian began his musical studies in 1999, at the age of 12, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, playing drums and attending private lessons.
In 2001 he entered the Centro Polivalente de Artes of Buenos Aires, where he learned musical theory, classical guitar, choral singing and music history.
In 2005 he continued his studies at the Juan José Castro Conservatory, getting a deeper aproach to musical theory, harmony, history, instrumental ensemble, orchestration and arrangement techniques, and composition.
At the same time, and during all these years, he studied self-taught, and with different teachers, learning vocal technique, Jazz harmony, flamenco guitar, classical harmony and orchestration.

EXPERIENCE

At the age of 14, he began to create compositions for solo guitar, chamber music, orchestra and bands. 
He participated as a member and as founder of countless musical projects; playing from Rock, Blues and Heavy Metal, to Celtic music, Flamenco, Jazz, Tango, musical theater, composition for soundtracks and the composition and conduction of the musical "The mask of the Red Death”, based on the story by Edgar Allan Poe, in 2012

Currently, his compositional and interpretive focus is mainly on European folk music: From flamenco and Balkan music, to Scandinavian and Celtic influences.
